Nominations are now open for the 2019 International Opera Awards.

This is your chance to have your say about the highlights of your operatic year, by telling us about the performers, ensembles and productions which impressed you the most in 2018 – anywhere in the world.

Your nominations will enable our jury to draw up the shortlists from which our 2019 winners will be determined.

All nominations should refer to performances and achievements of the 2018 calendar year. Submissions are encouraged from both the public and the opera industry, and multiple submissions are permitted.

Shortlists will be announced in early 2019, when voting for the Opera magazine Readers’ Award will also open. Details of the 2019 ceremony will be revealed shortly.

Please contact us if you have any queries about the nomination process.

Nominations close at 5pm GMT on Monday 7 January 2019.
