A Celebration of Placido Domingo, KBE

6.30pm, Monday 28th January
Great Room, Royal Society of Arts
8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ

Don’t miss your chance to join us for this very special event with Guest of Honour Plácido Domingo, KBE*, a patron of the International Opera Awards.

Taking place in the historic RSA, the evening will begin with “The Domingo Phenomenon”, an illustrated talk by renowned opera specialist and Domingo biographer Helena Matheopoulos.

Helena will then be joined onstage by Maestro Domingo himself for a Q&A session during which audience members will have the opportunity to pose their own questions to this Titan of the operatic stage. A special presentation will also be made, appointed Maestro Domingo as the Opera Awards Foundation’s first Honorary Fellow.

Afterwards, all attendees are invited to join us for a drinks and canapés reception.

Tickets are £110 per person which includes an optional £50 donation to the Opera Awards Foundation, our charity (reg. no. 1151026) supporting aspiring operatic talent around the world.

To book, contact: sarah.noble@operaawards.org or 0207 104 2057. Early booking is recommended as space for this event is strictly limited.

*Please note that while Plácido Domingo is currently scheduled to attend this event, operatic schedules can be unpredictable. Should he be obliged to withdraw, the event will proceed and no refunds will be offered.
